This hasn't been easy

Been having difficulties with P3. I honestly just think I went over board. I did so well on VLCD that I thought this will be a breeze. WRONG!! I have had a slow steady gain then poof I was up by 3lbs. Ok so I had to get this figured out. Why was this happening?

My husband suggested it was the weight training combined with the tanning. The weight training, to build my strength back up, would cause water to retain around the muscles causing a gain. The heavy tanning an slight burn here an there would cause water weight as well. So he told me to stop the weight training all together even though I whined about it. He told me to stick strictly to cardio. I complained about not wanting to get flabby an all but he said I was ok to do my crunches that was it. He told me I would just have to deal with it for the time being an he would help me tone an shape once I am done completely. So I dropped the weights.

Steak day? well normally but I still don't like the idea of all that meat sitting in my colon. So I figured I would modify it my way. I don't recommend this to ANYONE!!! Follow the plan as given, I'm just a weirdo an have to do things my way LOL Yesterday I had a fairly large hamburger pattie with cheese an a small side salad. I had a handful of mixed cheese chunks last night before bed. I was down by 1.2lbs today. Today I will do a steak day but instead of eating it at night having it sit there I will eat it around 12-1 so that I have time to burn it. We'll see how that works.

I've learned that nuts are not a good idea right off the bat on P3. Ham to me is not a great thing, I seem to gain. Yes it was real ham not processed an no sugar. So it will be a once an while thing. Once I drop it back down I will stick to leaner meats an fish. Get back to some more salads that help cleanse out. We'll see how it goes from there.

HEY EVERYONE

Lets see its been a busy couple of days. I started with no drops on the 31 I stuck to the VLCD diet an the next day was down by .07 of a pound. I also worked out fully. Even using the treadmill. I can't believe how weak I became while on the diet. My legs were yelling at me on the treadmill an I couldn't use near the weights I had prior. It's all good though cause my 16yr old daughter started the gym with me for the very first time. Getting her started on a healthier lifestyle so she will never have to do this. She's thin anyways just flabby from not working out. But that will all change. I still stuck to VLCD on day 2 no drops

I was down 1.4lbs to make a total of 32lbs gone. *SNOOPY DANCE* yesterday was day 3 of no drops. I decided to give some new foods a try. Per Red Book...if on the 3rd day you wake up an are truly starving the HCG should be out of your system an you can start P3. On the way back from the Vets I stopped at Whataburger *best hamburgers in the south* Got a breakfast on a bun. They use real eggs not that boxed stuff. I threw away the bun an had just the egg an sausage since the cheese melted to the bun. LOL I do believe I sucked on each piece of sausage. I layed out an used tanning oils. For dinner I had a talapia fillet. Didn't weigh it cause most of the frozen packet fillets are between 85-115grams. After 30 days of this I had those weights down pat. I also had 2 scoops using a tablespoon of blackeyed peas. OMG THEY WERE SO GOOD!!! I ate each pea individually. I do believe they tasted better than they had in my life. LOL Really does give you a new appreciation for food. I also had one small bite of a pork chop that had been coated in italian bread crumbs an fried in olive oil. I know it was a no no but I really just wanted a taste.

This morning I woke up an was up .04lbs. Not bad I'm feeling good about it all. Today is gym day again so the treadmill should take care of that. Have to do grocery shopping today. I will get more fresh meats an frozen veggies. We eat a lot of fish here so I'll still be having that quite often. Gotta have my omega 3 an oils. Good for the heart, hair an skin. Not to mention to lower cholesterol. Which mine is perfect was even before the diet. I credit that to the fish, garlic an other fresh herbs we use quite often. We had changed our diet well over a year ago in a attempt to eat healthier. An it really showed in all my blood tests cause I was the healthiest fat person around. LOL My husband says I should probably still see some weight loss here an there because my metabolism is now working. I know we are so suppose to maintain our loss but I have more rounds to go. An if I am losing it in the right way from exercise an eating right then I see no harm in it. An hubby agrees. *side note* Why do I mention what he says, if you are new an haven't seen what I wrote about him. He is massively into fitness. In fact when he is out of town working *travels the country staying on jobs 6-9mths at a time* that's all he does is exercise. LOL He is constantly reading an talking to people he meets at the gyms he goes to in different towns. He's talked to pro builders an pro trainers. The man is in awesome shape for 42yrs old. He knows what he is talking about.

Well that brings you up to date. I will try to be more regular with my updates on P3 so it won't be so long. So far it's overcast unless it burns off I won't be tanning today. Dang it, starting to get good color. Maybe start tanning bed then. I needs my tan!!! Let ya know how things go.

Oopsie Rolls

A few have asked what they are. They are mock bread for those of us on P3. They are not bad at least gives you something you can chew LOL I've heard of people making them into muffins with fruit an one who tried it as pizza crust. Never heard how that one came out.

Here's the recipe:

Oopsie rolls:

6 large eggs
2 tsp stevia
dash of salt
pinch of cream of tarter
8 oz cream cheese (not softened)

preheat over to 300

separate eggs and add stevia, salt and cream cheese to yolks mix
in separate bowl mix egg whites and cream of tarter till stiff (mix whites 1st if using the same mixer for both)
using a spatula gradually fold egg yolk mix into the white mix. Be careful not to break down whites.
Spray cookie sheet pan with none stick cook spray. make 12 rounds of mix on pan and flatten slightly
bake 30 min

I personally added 2 packs of truvia to it. Gave it a much better taste to me but if you like stevia have at it.

I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have reached my goal for round 1 30lbs lost!!!! I lost 30lbs in 28 days. *dances about in utter joy* Can't tell ya'll how happy I am with myself right now. I have noticed the last two days I have felt pretty bad. No real symptoms of sickness just didn't feel good. Plus my hunger has greatly increased. I have not felt this hungry since I first started. I can't help but think I am/was developing immunity. So it was perfect timing for me to stop.

Though now comes the hard part. VLCD is easy cause you have a certain list to follow that is simple. With P3 if you use the red book you still have a list to follow but everyone an every body is different. So I will have to increase my calories while maintaining my weight. Finding out what foods are a problem to me an which are not. How much my body will allow in without gaining. The book an the protocol both say 1500-2000 calories a day but just like I seen one woman who figured out she can only have 1300 calories a day without gaining. A lot depends on how much movement you do in a day as well. If your pretty sedimentary it stands to reason you won't need as many calories. If your very active or work out then you will have to have more calories to burn. So it will all be a trial an error. Least this way I know after my next round what I can an can not do.

I go to see my husband on April 9th. He has not seen me since losing this 30lbs so I am hoping he will be overly thrilled an not be able to keep his hands off me. hehehe I told him I want him to be proud of me an he said he was always proud of me. awwwww moment.

I'll let ya know how P3 goes. Got a few days of starving ahead of me as the HCG leaves my system then I can slowly increase my food intake AN HAVE MY PORK CHOP!!

Sunday beautiful Sunday

Well lets see here, yesterday kinda sucked a bit cause I only lost 2ozs. LOL How sad is that? But then today I was down by 1.8 so there ya go back to the pound a day. An that puts me 2lbs away from my 30lb goal.

I also tried albacore tuna in water. It tasted so good an had that yesterday an you see the lose. I just crumbled some into my lettuce added my WD dressing an nom nom nom goodness. I know tuna is very good for you with all the vitamins it has in it. Heck fish in general is good for you. The oils in fish are great for the heart, hair an skin. So make sure to get enough fish in your diet.

I find it kind of ironic that we should eat a lot fish an chicken on this diet cause my husband had told me a way to quicken weight loss is to eat fish an rice...chicken rice..fish an..... My brother also used to boiled chicken all the time an that man is a perfect 10 in the body department. He could go from cut an lean to bulk muscle in a matter of weeks cause his body was in tune. Course we cut the starch that is for those working out heavier an burning the starch off.

So happy I am staring P3 in the eye. My pork chop is just around the corner. hehehe Gonna make some oopsie rolls today an see how they come out. Want to get them frozen so I will have them ready when I hit P3. Till later, happy losing.

Almost there

On day 23 down 26lbs. I am so happy with myself an what I have accomplished in this time frame. I plan on stopping this round at 30lbs regardless of how many days I have left in the month. It's a personal choice. I am worried about sagging, even though I know the HCG is suppose to take care of that. I just feel I need time to rest my body for the next rounds an take some time toning.

Even with Aunt Flo around I still have managed to keep losing weight. I was down .06 yesterday an I even had white albacore tuna packed in water an a salad. So for me tuna was just fine. Then today I was down by 1.4lbs which evened out my 1lb a day ratio.

I am so looking forward to going on P3 an trying out the oopsie rolls. Being able to have more of a selection of meats an veggies. An honestly I am not all that worried about not being able to have starch or sugar. My cravings for them are well under control. I miss them yes but its not a must have any more an that is one big goal I was hoping to achieve. I am a little scared to go on P3 like most people are but I have faith in myself an I will learn to trust my body an know it's ok to feel empty I don't have to feel full at all times. When I am actually hungry then eat, other wise just go on. Food is fuel not a way to pass time to feed emotions.

I will still have 70lbs to go but the way I look at it, it took me many years to get to this state. If it takes 6mths to lose it then that's a walk in the park an I will get to the other side of the park. Emerge a much happier, healthier an thinner person with the energy to do what ever it is that I want.

Now I know

I have been on a roller coaster of a pound lost, nothing ect. for about 4 days now. An then Aunt Flo showed up today. I thought that might be what it was since I had that ole familiar feeling. Though I was still down by 1.2 lbs today. I took a water pill yesterday so I am sure that helped release the extra water I was carrying because of this. I am also taking one today. I know it is not recommended for weight loss an I do agree but like I said before I don't prefer to take a detox bath an I know it's excess water so I'm getting rid of that. Which also helps in the pain I have with Aunt Flo.

I had my first salad with tuna today with Walden Farms Cesar Salad dressing. I got all white tuna in water. After reading the red book they mention tuna yet do not include it in the list of foods. There mention was that in the 50's tuna in water was not available back then as it is now an there have been studies that suggest tuna actually aids in weight loss. So it was use at your own caution thing. I'm a rebal LOL I'll let ya'll know but won't know for sure till Aunt Flo leaves town again.

Got through fine

I surprised myself, I got through my mini work out just fine. The problem I ran into was chest press an butterfly cause for some reason the major weakness is in my arms. I was gonna go early but thought better of it an waited till I ate. Which I'm sure was much smarter move cause then I had protein to burn.

Any ways, we'll see how the scale does tomorrow cause I know your not suppose to do any strenuous work outs. But I didn't even barely break a sweat so I should be ok. I'll let ya know

AAAA Monday

Ok it's Monday an I am so sorry for all you working people. LOL Today marks day 19 for me an I am down 23lbs in all. An today marks the day I start toning. I called the gym, I haven't been to in so long *rolls eyes* to see how much time I have left I have 4mths left. COOL!!! Gonna start working on my tummy, legs an chest. I have dumbbells here for my arms. Thinking of either 5lb or 10lb's, have to see in sets of 4 with 10-12 reps. I'll start with 10 an see how that goes an add up to 12. That may work better for me. Those wanting only to tone an use weight machines use low weights high reps. All it does is tone the muscles an not build. Don't do them fast, control your movements. Ok that was your exercise lesson for today hehehehe

I took another ladies advice an started back on my vitamins. I get mine from a local fitness store hubby an I use. It's small so we can talk to the guys about what are needs are an they are all very knowledgeable on the products. So I use a liquid vitamin that has freakin everything in it. The only reason I haven't taken it is cause it does have honey in it an I know that is not allowed. Though since I don't take a huge does I'm figuring the amount of honey has to be very minimal. I know in pill form 1/2 of the vitamin you take does not reach your body. It gets ate up in the stomach acid. Just a little tip there for ya.

Well see how this toning goes since I haven't had much strength lately cause of the lack of protein. I read an article about a bodybuilder doing HCG an still working out. He took creatin, which aids in building an fueling muscle, when he worked out. I'll have to have a talk with my guys to see if that puts on weight if your not working out heavy. I'll let ya'll know.

today was better

I lost 1.4 this morning so basically I only lost a day. No biggie, I have done really good through out so I am not all that upset. Would have been nice not to mess up yes but no reason getting all hyper over it. Just, now I know.

Talk about mean though, I had to go to the store this morning to do some shopping an the smell of fresh cinnamon buns filled the air. Wrong, just wrong I tell ya. Not to mention for some unknown reason I decided to watch the food network today. LOL Yes I know, how dumb am I. I ate my chicken soup, made from broth, while I watched it so I didn't die. Though I did realize I really miss noodles. An I miss Pork!!! I plan on a big pork chop in 1 week an 6 days!!!

Plus, I have to say this more for myself than anyone else. People don't you think these "coaches" are out to make money? I mean come on, if you have read the protocol Pounds an Inches you know some of this stuff is not allowed. Even read HCG Weight Loss Cure Guide *red book* an you will know it's not allowed. If they don't push the original protocol beware. That's all I'm saying. Don't just listen to me or Joy or others on here we are not professionals read it up an find out for yourself. The tools are out there for you to be in control. An anyone on a phone I'm betting they are not professionals either. 90% of what I say is directly from either the protocol or the red book which goes strictly by the protocol cept is updated. Ok there another one off my chest. LOL

First time for everything

The redbook said that cottage cheese was ok once in awhile. So I had a 1/2 cup last night. Apparently for me it is not ok cause I gained .6 of a pound. That's a first for me in 2 an 1/2 weeks. So I guess that's not that bad. I am for sure minding my P's & Q's today!!

I also took my mom bowling today for her birthday. I also found out HCG an bowling is not the best idea LOL I did fine through the first game without a problem, felt strong. Half way through the second game my energy an strength was leaving me fast. I was so weak by the time I made it home. I now know not to do anything that actually requires some strength while on this. I have heard others do fine but it just wiped me out. I have had days where I was I have felt pretty weak. Even one day washing my hair felt like a challenge. So I know on my weeks off I need to do some strength training to make sure I don't lose any while losing weight. I'm pretty sure most if not all will come back once I can have more protein as well.

The unpopular thought

I know this one isn't gonna be popular with a lot of people. Please understand this just "my" personal opinion/thought on it does not mean I am unsympathetic to anyone.

I read a post today where someone said they could not understand why people cheat or sabotage themselves with cheating an wasting their hard earned money. I actually agreed with the post cept for one thing. I can understand to a point. After being obese for over 10yrs it's a exciting but also scary thing to watch your body change an the mind does weird things to us. Some people are afraid of change. As exciting as it is it can be scary too. Specially if your doing it for the wrong reason, someone else telling you should an not for yourself, just to fit in ect.. This takes will power, something I never thought I would have but then again I am doing this solely for me. My husband loves me just the way I am. Yes does he want me to lose weight so I will be around longer. My family are worse on me about it an honestly I think that is what kept me here longer. CAuse I am seriously stubborn tell me I HAVE to do something an I just won't do it good or bad.

Now on the same hand, everyone knows what they are getting into at the start of it. If they don't then I really have no pitty cause why would you spend so much money an not find out first? So you have to be willing to work at it. If you made it 15-20 days an just had a minor slip up that would be more understanding not in the first week. To me that is you just really didn't want it.

Also, I am seeing soooooo many thin people using this cure that have no business using it. Who am I to say that? I really don't have any merit other than it was meant for obese people an a cure. Go ahead do what you want but don't whine when your not losing. HCG will prevent you from losing below your actual body weight for any period of time. You may lose but you will gain it back. Read the protocol it talks about this. Trying to use this to lose 10 less than what your actual body weight should be so you can be skin an bones makes it a fad diet an that is what prevented this cure from becoming legit as it should have in the 70's. Makes me wonder why so many people are so lazy that they can't get off their tail end an get in the gym. If you can afford this you can afford the gym. A woman's body that is lean, fit but with curves is much more attractive than skin an bones.

An a last note while I am on my soap box here. So many people ask me how I could know anything bout fitness, BMI, proper body weight, food ect an be this fat. It's simple I grew up in this. I have always know the tools to eat right, exercise right ect. My husband is also very much into this an learns new things all the time relaying them to me. I am properly one of the healthiest fat person you will ever meet. All my cholesterol are PERFECT. Sugar levels ect. The only thing wrong with me is I am too fat so that causes high blood pressure. Ask anyone what happens to someone who was into muscle building what happens when you stop. It all turns to fat. Fitness was not a priority in my life when I gained weight, like it should have been. That is how I know.

Ok I feel better, I said it an now it is out of my system. On with the goodness. LOL

swoooooo I made it

Had tons of running around to do today. I went from one end of this town to another. Paid off my living room suit WOO HOO an had to go to the health food store in down town to pick a few things up. I normally eat bout 1-2. Around 1:30 I was starting to get hungry. By 2:30 I was seriously starving, head ache an all.

I past one fast food restaurant after another. I kept trying to think of something I could get from one of them that I could eat on the go. Yea I could eat a salad but that would mean I would have to go inside, didn't want to do that. I even thought of KFC grilled chicken but lets face it no matter what they do there is going to be oil on it cause the oils are just flying around in those places. I know I worked for them as a teen. Plus the chicken is injected to make it tastier.

I finally made it home at 3 an then it was time for drops. uggg Took my drops an started some beef soup. Found a beef broth with nothing added that's a no no. George Formaned some hamburger meat, throw that in there. Added some garlic, basil an orgeno. An let it simmer for the 30 mins I had to wait before I could eat. ohhhhh it was so good to eat!!!

I have learned my lesson. From now on if I have to a lot of running around to do I'm bring an apple with me. At least I survived the day.

I DID IT!!!

I have lost a total of 20lbs!!!! You should have seen my this morning jumping up an down like a fool. hehehehe I am now lower than I have been in almost 10yrs. This is a massive treat for me. I can see my goal being closer an closer everyday. It will still take time I know this an I am ok with this. Each round will bring me close to that day, that I will be happy with myself physically once again. I won't have to hide under baggy shirts an sweat pants. Where I can walk in a store see a pair of jeans I like an buy them. I can finally stop crying every time I put on clothes cause I disgust myself. An more importantly do the things I like to do an not have to stop for a breath cause it's too much work hauling around this lard.

At this rate I should make it to my goal of 30lbs gone FOREVER! this round. Then I will have 6 weeks off to readjust my body an get some things on the road to some serious toning. My body is starting to look like a oggly mess LOL Something only exercise will cure. It will feel so much better doing that now than before.

Cheaper HCG drops.

I personally do the drops. There has been no reported differences in either injections vs. drops though some may tell you there is. Kinda worries me shooting up with something I'm all not at all sure of where it came from. Specially those from out of the country. I stick with U.S. dealers so I know they are in compliance with FDA *though the FDA does not regulate homeopathic meds the labs must be in compliance*. An follow the guidelines established in Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the U.S.

There are several schedules to take HCG drops. The main rule that applies to all schedules is place drops under tongue an hold for a min. of 2 mins. Personally I do 5 mins. It can not be absorbed through the stomach, there for it has to be absorbed under the tongue. Swallow the residue. No eating or drinking an preferably no smoking for a min. of 15mins afterwards.

Schedules can be as follows: 6 drops 6 x a day I.E. 6 x 6 for start. Spread out over your waking time. Roughly every 2-2 1/2hrs. If after 6 days your still starving then up your drops by 1 for a few days an see how it goes.

If using an dispensing syringe .5cc is one drop. If your dropper doesn't seem to be accurate get a syringe.

10 drops 3 x a day, 3x10 *my routine cause I don't want to be tied to a clock* I did the 6x6 in the beginning but that didn't work for me cause of time an I was always hungry. Everyone is different.

Be consistent with your timing though. You want to keep the flow of HCG steady in your body. I take mine at 9 a.m. 3 p.m. 9 p.m. Make the schedule work for you. If you are up for work at 5 a.m. you may want to take yours earlier. If you forget, in most people, your body let's you know because you'll become hungry.

Good day

I was down another 1.2lbs today oh yeah oh yeah. That makes a total of 19.2lbs in 14 days!!!??? In just one more pound I will be lower than I have in 10yrs!!

Finally found me some Walden's Farm dressings. I got the creamy bacon an the Cesar. Shredded up some chicken an lettuce 2tbls of creamy bacon some pepper an OH GOD YES TASTE!!

Wow I think I just got overly excited there.

I also got a new treat in today from Discoverstevia.com, I got my flavored drink sticks in. I bought cherry in the stix an grape in the powder tub thingy. The cherry smelt an tasted just like cherry koolaid. Actually one stix was too sweet for me I'll use half from now on. But man talk about a nice change of pace.

New Stuff weeeeee

I got my actual copy of the Red Book *HCG Weight Loss Cure Guide by Linda Prinster* yesterday in the mail. There was so much more info in there then the one on line. I was up late reading it.

Like steak day........yes on P2 you can have a "mini" steak day to break a stall same as a P3 steak day but you stick to your 100grams of steak an apple or tomato with your meal.

MUSTARD....we can have yellow mustard "MAKE SURE" it does not have any sugar in the ingredients!!! Just plain yellow mustard.

PICKLES......dill pickles are allowed but they are considered one of your veggies an "MAKE SURE" that it does not have oils, starches, or sugars. i.e. fructose corn syrup.
I use vlasic kosher it doesn't have any of that in it. an tasted sooo good. *must be noted if you notice a stall or weight gain from it then drop the pickle LOL*

Also if you don't feel like eating that much that day it is ok to skip it. You body is drawing the nutrients from your stored fat cells. So if you don't want a fruit don't have it. says "HCG releases about 1500-4000 calories per day into your system + the 500"

The reason behind the 6 weeks off after a round is reset your bodies comfort weight. Also *an I find very important* to prevent sagging of the skin. It allows time for your body to readjust itself. As they put it for your mind an body to catch up to one another. An to recover an build up more nutrients for the next round.

Where I'm at now

I am on day 15 of VLCD *very low calorie diet* I have lost a total of 18lbs so far. A normal meal consist of 100 grams of allowable protein an a veggie. You can have an allowable fruit with it if you wish or save for a snack. An tons of water.

The first week I started was SO hard for me. I actually understood the word starvation in it's true sense. I was so freakin hungry, but every morning I stepped on the scale I'd see one or two pounds gone so that kept me going. I had massive withdraws from caffeine since I was addicted to diet coke. You can have coffee on this diet but to me that stuff is nassssty! I even cried myself to sleep a few nights.

Starting about day 5 the hunger was less an by day 7 it was pretty much under control except for a few moments here an there. I have learned to play with what time I take my drops that better suit me. An how to prepare meals that are more satisfying.

So far I'm pretty happy with myself an the diet. For the first time in my life I can actually see a cure for my obesity. I have not lost as many inches as I see other people losing. Though I can visually see an feel lighter. I guess mine is just gonna take longer to go.

Quick over view: I'm fat, the end. LOL Ok, Ok, I've battled weight my whole life but really nothing extreme till I hit my 30's. Life happened in abundance!! I ate an ate an well ate, not to mention sat around on my butt way too much. That turned into someone I really can't stand. Over my life time I have tried diet after diet yea they worked some but it always came back. Even tried the right way exercise an eating right. Lost 20lbs then hit a stall an well that stall lasted over a year. Very depressing. After quitting work I gained 10 of those pounds back.

I found HCG by complete accident not even looking for a diet really. I saw the ad an followed it. It sounded interesting enough so I started researching it out. I went to the youhcg.com boards on Facebook an read over what everyone was saying about it. Now note I don't easily give into gimics. I actually research stuff out before I decide to do something. An something inside of me said to do this.
